LILY'S COOKIES specializes in unique, custom decorated cookies for all occasions and special events. Founded by Christine McCrae-Kelly in October 2002, she brings family tradition, a love of cooking, and an extensive background as a classically-trained artist to her gourmet cookie company.

McCrae-Kelly fondly remembers long hours spent watching her Grandmother while she lovingly prepared food for family and friends. The name LILY'S COOKIES was inspired by the sweet smelling Lily of the Valley flowers that grew in her Grandmother's garden. A native Texan, McCrae-Kelly earned her MFA in painting from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and worked as an Art Gallery Director in both Chicago and New York City before returning to San Antonio.

LILY'S COOKIES is dedicated to bringing elegant, innovative and delicious cookies - that taste as good as they look - to a wide range of corporate and private clients. Striving to combine old-fashioned goodness with contemporary flair, the cookies are baked to order using the finest natural ingredients and carefully perfected recipes.

Creating the tasty confections is a labor intensive process and involves several steps to complete. The show-stopping desserts begin with a delectable shortbread butter cookie. After the cookie is cut-out and baked, each one is outlined and glazed with homemade icing. Once dry, the real work begins when each cookie is carefully decorated by hand into miniature works of art which please the palate and delight the eye.

These irresistible cookies are available in all sizes and shapes, and if a cookie cutter in McCrae-Kelly's extensive collection does not suit an occasion, an original template can be made. McCrae-Kelly enjoys collaborating with clients to create unique designs that add a dash of style, a personal touch and a dollop of whimsy to any celebration.

LILY'S COOKIES can be used as party favors or gifts. They can be packaged in any number of ways including clear cellophane bags with bows and personalized gift tags. The minimum order is two dozen cookies, and the cost depends on the elaborate details or designs requested.
